Abstract
The use of toxic substance these days, like pesticides, is very popular all around the world especially in Third World countries. One can see pesticides not just in agriculture but in homes, schools, companies and lawns. Most of the people are in the exposure of these toxic substances without knowing anything about the effects on their health and their environment. As we use pesticides to kill bugs in our homes, spraying it easily all over the air, do we know the effects of them on human health? There are thousands of researches that show the different effects of pesticides on human and environment and also on animals. Gathering all of these effects together and presenting them to the readers is the goal of this paper. Scientists showed that there are lots of cancers and other diseases linked to pesticides. Besides, that they are dangerous for humans, can kill lots of animals, infect the water that we drink, and even our food. The awareness of these effects and diseases can help people to choose safe ways to kill the pests, or, by knowing each of the pesticide types, they can choose the one with the lowest toxicity and effects.
